Students Work

I have recently been sent some fantastic photo’s from customers who have either come on courses or made garments from fabric bought at English Couture. I thought these may inspire you to make up some fabrics over the holidays.
The first one is of a Chanel style jacket which was mainly made on the make the Classic Jacket created by MLLE. Chanel course which I ran at the beginning of December. Mita went home & finished it off & sent me this fantastic picture.

This was a fabric which had been living in a cupboard for sometime & I think it looks amazing.
The next two are made from fabric bought at English Couture. They are made from Pheasant House fabric. Some of you may remember me having this fabric in stock a couple of years ago. The lady who ran the company & wove the fabric herself wanted to retire & so I bought all her remaining stock. Most of it sold out fairly rapidly, we do still have a few bits left. If you want to have a look here is the link to our fabrics page the fabrics from Pheasant house start with a PHF in the code. The fabrics have all sorts of woollen content. We won’t be able to get anymore of this as it’s not being produced.
The first photo is of a beautiful jacket made by Jodie. This uses two of the fabrics which were woven to compliment each other. I think this is a most unusual jacket.

The last one is the cutest this wonderful little girl is Rosemary’s grandaughter who has only just realised how talented her grandma is. She looks so proud wearing her new coat.
